Why a personal website?

I began attending interviews in the '90s in search of a job that I aspired most then – that of becoming a software developer. But destiny had other plans of me – I ended up being a website developer, which got me hooked onto making a website for me after having made so many for others. Everyone is different. The key — perhaps the main key — is finding what is different about oneself and letting the world know about our difference and what one can contribute. A website is one way one can communicate our difference, grow our network, and make connections across this planet.
